🤍 Why this work matters to me

My injury didn’t just stop me physically it exposed a pattern I had been living in for years.

I was always the one who pushed through.
No matter what.

Pain, stress, exhaustion… I could override all of it.

And in the past, when I got injured, I would spiral.
I’d lose my routine, feel out of control in my body, gain weight,
and disconnect from myself even more.

So when this injury happened, I knew I didn’t want to go down that path again.

But I also knew I couldn’t just “try harder” my way through it.

Because that’s what got me there in the first place.

That’s when I started looking deeper.

Not just at the rehab… but at my patterns.
How I was coping.
Why I kept pushing past my limits.

Learning about my nervous system and later Human Design helped me understand why my body was responding the way it was.

Not as a problem.
But as protection.

And once I could see that, everything shifted.

I stopped fighting my body.
I started working with it.

I was able to stay more consistent, more grounded…
and actually support my healing instead of sabotaging it.

This injury didn’t break me. It made me face what was underneath and that’s what allowed me to come back stronger.

Not just physically, but in how I move, train, and live.

That’s what this reset is built on.
